With 1/2" baseboard I believe there should be only 25 ft of affective base in the circuit that will provide you with 15,000 btu @ 20*Del T. I guess as long as you are not going to excessive lengths between base, this should hold. The guy's are sharp in here and will set your mind at ease.

I am wondering something regarding baseboard hot water heater footage: Generally speaking (if all rooms are similar in size, what should the percentage be in the 1st 1/2 of the loop versus the end half of the loop? I know that you want less heater footage in the 1st half otherwise the cooler water would not warm the 2nd part of the house equally - but how much less? I am looking for a rule of thumb and realize that the true test is actually trying it out in the middle of winter to see if there are hot rooms or cold rooms. I am guessing that perhaps it should be something like 35% in 1st half and 65% in the last half. Is there a formula that you can use based on square footage per room?
