  • Which Tekmar reset?

I live in mid Michigan and in the process of having our local heating company install a outdoor reset on our boiler. Before I proceed any farther I would like your input, not that I don't have faith in the company, but they admit that they don't do to many boilers.
We have a WM HE-5 boiler, aquastat set @ 180, hot water with 5 zones, Honeywell ZV's, CI & 1 fintube, no domestic hot water off the boiler. Down the road I would , maybe, like to add some floor warming in the bathrooms. Which model Tekmar would be best suited for our applacation?

    Fred...

...If you give me a call, I could go over the options with you.

Best Option is tN4. You can also see our web site for more info. www.tekmarcontrols.com.

I can be reached at 250-545-7749, Ext. 214.

Am looking forward to hearing from you.
    Best regards,

if not going Tn4, I'd prob use a 363 since it's so "universal"

    :) IF NOT tN4 ...

    ...thats the next best choice...
  • Tn4

So as I read, it appears that the Tn4 is a systems type of boiler control? You can add moduals to adapt/change the controls as you change or upgrade the boiler or type of heating demands. Am I correct in my thinking?

    tN4 is...

...a modular approach to integrate the entire HVAC system. Essentially, it is a mini Energy Management System that communicates across all devices in the system. It is the very best way to eliminate boiler short cycling while increasing the systems efficiency to the maximum available by operating the zones at the lowest possible water temperature.

I could write you a book, or better yet, talk you through some of the other features and functions that come with it.

Just call me, if you like to hear more.
