Just looking to see what supply pressures you are getting in your areas. We only get 6" w.c. in our area which is low for some of the new condensing equip. Thanks in advance

    Here on the Gold Coast,

(eastern Ma.) the regulator at the meter usually is set to 7". , though I have seen it as high as 9-10" W.C.

Always check. You never know what the guys from the distribution companies have been doing. Look at the pages of the Boston Globe for the last few days, and you'll see what I mean! Chris

    Residential is

7" and commercial is as high as 5 PSI. I wish we could get 2 PSI for residential stuff.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

    Up the pressure

You should be able to design a small diameter gas distribution system within your structure; ask for a higher pressure reg., and then secondary reg it down to your desired pressure (but be sure to pipe relief vent to outside)

we get 2 psi here and is it ever great

came from a place where is was 7" and had to be done in steel pipe only. Now we run everything into the boiler room in 1/2"copper and then regulate down. A centraley located manifold with shutoffs sure makes it easy to work on stuff
