That is exactly what I have. One question,if you don't mind. Did you use ss clamps to adapt to the wirsbo tubing? Thanks again.

    Dof3'

About the only experience I have is cutting them out and repiping, they usually go bad and send boiler temp water to the floor and cook off the floor covering.

So you just removed them and put your own pump and mix valve in place of it? I have 2 of them on this job that the high school kids did in a new house. I don't have room to replace them where they are at. So, I will probably have to repipe the whole boiler.

I tried whatever that thing is you put on the screen and it goes nowhere. Is it a link on the internet or on the wall? Thanks for any help!!
  • Copy, cut, paste and GO...

    Duhv3,

Place your cursor over the first character of the url Paul posted, now, holding down on the left button of your mouse, slowly and carefully scroll your cursor until the whole link is highlighted. Un click the button on your mouse. Now right click and click on COPY. Now move the cursor to the Address window at the top of you browser. Repeat the highlight process of the current address. Right click and click on PASTE. The stuff you copied off of Pauls post should now be in the address window. Click GO on your browser, and you should be taken to another post.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. I like the way you spelled my name. Real cute.
  • You're welcome...

When people don't use their real name for a screen name, the pronunciation can be a problem... NO offense meant...

Why be afriad to use your real name? Real men (and women) are not afraid to ask for directions and what they may perceive as silly questions. I do it ALL the time :-)

FWIW, whenever I run into one of these beauties, I perform sawzall surgery, put in one distribution pump, and mix to the worst case scenario zone and install zone valves on the individual returns.

At a recent RadFest, the RPA had these clue boxes with a singlew hand hole in them, and you had to stick your hand into the box and feel the component and identify it without looking at it. I walked up to the table, and Teresa Drake was manning (womaning) the table. I stuck my hand into the box with the pump in question in it, felt around for a second, looked Teresa right in the eye and said "It feels like Larry Drakes heart!" She cracked up laughing.. You see, Larry Drake invented that pump/reset logic, and she's married to him.

Guess you'd have to be there...

    SS clamps

Yes, I used the SS crimp clamps and Wirsbo barbed adapters to convert to 3/8" hePex. Instead of 4 pumps at each manifold, there is now 1-26-99 bronze pump in the Danfoss HX panel.
