Becket Multipurpose Guage

Picked up new electrodes for my AFG. Package (#5780) contains a new guage (T501) for setting the electrodes, Z dimension, etc. I used it, but after reassembly, the fire either did not light or banged when it did. I compared the new gauge to my old one (T231) and find that the electrode setting marks on the new gauge differ from the old on the F head markings. I reset the electrodes using my old gauge and no problem. Anyone know of this change problem?
Thanks.
Thanks.

using the \"Z\" Guage now
and have not had any problems since. Faster and easier.0 -

The only change that I was aware of moved the electrodes further down toward the center line of the nozzle. I had found this to eliminate some minor issues that I had encountered.
Does the burner have a damaged or incorrect head?0
