... needs to be treated with respect. Flammable vapors can develop from all sorts of substances, a point that driven home when I took a safety class at work some years ago.

According to the safety expert, one DIY guy was laying floor tile in the kitchen, went out to have a smoke, and had the house blow up behind him. Unfortunately, his little girl was still inside and died inside the burning/collapsed house. The glue vapors had ignited on the kitchen stove standing pilot.

Or the young chemist who was heating an evacuating flask or somesuch while not wearing a face shield. The flask imploded and cut his throat to shreds. The face mask was 6' away on the bench as he died on the floor.

Be careful out there.
