gas controls training

I have a colleague that wants some training on gas furnace and boiler controls - boards, modules, sequences, etc.
Who is offering this type of training?
Is it all manufacturer specific?

I have a training manual thru Bryant/Carries in residential furnace which includes multiple furnace set ups and trouble shooting charts. You can follow the sequence of operation which is nice....If interested, M2112@adelphia.net.
