    Prayer request

    I know I don`t post here enough to be considered much of a contributor but I have seen an enourmous outpouring of goodwill on the part of the wallies on this site when such a request is made.

    Well,now it`s My turn to ask for your help.

    My Wife is in the hospital awaiting an MRI on her head to clarify an apparent abnormality that an earlier CAT-scan didn`t quite identify.

    I don`t have to tell you guys that the anxiety at a moment like this is intense.

    Please keep My Wife in your thoughts and prayers I really don`t know how else to put it.

    Jim, i know how you feel, my wife is having a problem also...we are still noe sure whats goin on, could be cancer but they have not found out for sure yet...its hard to wait...it our wife, our life and love. be strong and feel it, let her know that you what you feel and have faith! trust me he works wonders!!!David

    My wife recently went thru a horror too, so yes I know how waiting can be . Consider yoourselves covered in the prayer department. As I lay me down to sleep your in my heart and prayers for sure .

    Been on heavy prayer duty all day....good friend just had a leg removed and it may get worse. Its all in God's hands, but that doesn't mean that we cannot petition the Lord With Prayer. I will say a special Paryer to Saint Padre Pio and the Blessed Mother right now. out. Mad Dog

    Mad Dog ,

    I was taken back many years when I saw your post about Padro Pio . I was given a medallion as a young child when I was sick , it was the relic of Padre Pio . I have carried in my wallet ever since . Tonight I am taking it out and saying a special prayer .

    I hope all goes better with your friend. I had a grandmother that lost an arm to cancer and then went about 10 years without any further problems. She was in her 60’s when the arm went. I’m sure she has it back now though.

    Also I wanted to let you know that I saw the most inspiring news story about a few soldiers who had lost limbs in Iraq. This story focused on a few of them who were going through rehab and moving on. One of them was a young man who was running 100-meter-sprints with one good foot and some kind of spring prosthetic for the other leg. His mother stated that he had done more since he lost the leg than he ever did with two! These brave men are being used for greater things now.

    I these things about these wonderful people and how they refuse to give up. Wow! (Thank you vets so much!) Tell your friend to hang in there.

    There is a lot of pain in the world, but a lot of love. Sometimes you look for it, sometimes it finds you. Often in places you least expect it, Jim.

    What is your wife's name may I ask? I think that helps the "petition" as Mad Dog puts it.

    not knowing is the worst part.

    I`ll wrestle with pumps and boilers all day but when something like this happens I find out I`m not the tough guy I think I am.
