Say a prayer for Dave Mason (SE)

Dave is a dear friend and fellow Wallie (occasionally) and is leaving today for Croatia. He's going to be there for 4-8 weeks doing refrigeration and boiler piping in a ship which an international aid group is refitting. I admire his sense of purpose in heeding the call to use his abilities in this way and I also admire his wife Jennifer for letting him go and minding the shop for a couple months while he's gone. All of the expenses for this are coming out of his own pocket and they are substantial.
It's a huge undertaking to be a part of because the ship is basically being gutted and totally re-done.

The website for the project is www.omships.org and the name of the ship is Logos Hope, currently on the upper right hand corner of the web page. I think Dave told me that you can sign up for e-mails on the website if you want to follow the progress of the job.

Anyway, keep him, his family and his business in your prayers as well as this worthy organization.

The boiler he's going to be working on is 16,000 HP
