Almost sounds like the difference between conventional and high-velocity air systems.

replacing a SelecTemp heating system
Hi,
I know nothing about heating (I'm a banjo player) but am having to decide how to replace my dad's 60 year old SelecTemp Heating System. (Not doing the work, just deciding what to use.) As you probably know, this is steam heat with small copper piping. And wall heaters. Any suggestions? Are there any wall heaters today that could replace these? He's in Georgia. Big modern (for 1959)house. BTW, nice SelecTemp catalog on this site!
Thanks!

we work on select temp systems..
feel free to e-mail me directly, or phone me..i'll try to answer your questions..they are rather different from the average steam system..once done working on one, we have to de-program ourselves so we don't carry any bad habits to the next regular steam system..if someones not worked on an iron fireman select temp before, it will blow their minds..
