Dlux,

The best suggestion would be to get another quote from another distributor(s) if you're not sure of the price. Something else might I suggestion is to get a quote on the Quik Paks (These are the 6 single panels attached together with a 2" stagger) They may cost a bit more but they are well worth it since they install dramatically faster than the single Quik Trak Panels.

    estimating

I constantly get asked, how much should I charge for this job, how much should I figure a square foot etc. I made up this guide to allow contractors to come up with a quick ball park number. This would allow them to feel out the HO to see if this is something they want to pursue. Then the contractorcan come back with a formal detailed estimate. We have gotten good feedback on this. Maybe this will help you. Quik Trak is the same as Climate Panel, Viega actual sells it to Wirsbo and some other companies in Europe

Obviously material & labor costs are subjective. You know your men, their skill set, productivity, and your overhead costs. Price your labor figures accordingly.

I can't stress enough -- do your homework, do it right.

Have you researched trade price and your multiplier from your wholesaler? Trade price is public knowledge, the multiplier you negotiate with your supplier. This eliminates any gray areas and confirms or negates whether your wholesaler is _____________you!
