summer/winter switch

Hot air furnace:
We have a white rogers 2 zone damper system with cooling on the furnace
Some older furnaces have a summer winter switch wired in to open the zone dampers in the summer to prevent coil freezing

i am jammed on a job where the zone control transformer was shorting out
we do not know how the original wiring was prior to others touching the wiring
The White Rogers tech people give very poor support on old controls, but it does not mean the unit cant be repaired

Need info on old wiring system
