An indirect from Lochinvar worth a look

I wonder if they have these water heaters swinging from hangers at the factory like a laundromat? ;-)

Looks good. Why the anode rod in a stainless tank?

    316 stainless

large smooth coil, nice replaceable jacket. Sharp control.

I like the combo anode rod, lifting ring, and large inspection hole it provides. Easy to see the coils and tank condition.

It arrived well crated and with a bubble plastic bootie over the tank.

    How about....

A shot of the whole tank? Where are the connections for the boiler and domestic water? Chris

    Looking forward to this.

Local code officials were only allowing DW heat-exchangers so the new Lochinvar tank was appealing but I wasn't able to use them. Until now, as of today, that code has been repealed. There are a lot of atmospheric boilers around here feeding shell and tube HX for DHW. Did they have to comply? (No).

This will be a nice addition.
