New rad valve doesn't line up

HELP! We are doing a remodel. Part of the job involves removing radiators, & re-installing after the floors are redone. The homeowner wanted new rad valves for each radiator. This isn't a problem except for one.... The old rad valve is 1/2" taller than the new one. The pipe coming out of the floor has no play & there is no way to get it out of the concrete floor. Does anyone have a source for a new rad valve that measures 1 1/2" from bottom to center of union fitting?(see pic)

Try a 1" male/female nipple extension should be the trick either that or wind out the nipple coming up

Or for looks you could try a coupler with a close nipple to the new rad valve. You really can't remove the nipple that is already there?0 -
Put a stack of fender washers under each leg.
