pipe expansion

Thanks Glen - I have no history with this install - actually lost this project to the low bid who is nowhere to be found- but it certainly seems there was no thought of "mouse ear" clamps, etc at tight wood penetrations. I keep trying to come up with a way to slowly inject high temp water so as to let the tubing gently expand.

    loud pipes

Hoping to get some input on loud pipe expansion problem. Owner experiencing typical loud pex pipe expansion noise that I assume is from too tight a fit in drilled joist holes / hangers / etc. during on cycle, worse as boiler temp get higher. I have no history with this install and there is very little exposed pipe in finished ceilings. The pipe is a 3/4" red (maybe Stadler?),very rigid and much harder to bend than Wirsbo HePex. Fittings are push style brass similar to Tiger Shark items. Anybody ever used some type of slow injection style valve to gently increase water temp? No outdoor reset used., Taco zone valves.
    Thanks,

I assume you used not form of bushing on your installation through the wood. Should have used suspension clamps. At this stage, what about considering convertin what you have to constant circulation and using an injection pump to try and minimze temperature changes?
