    She the wife of the greatest friend I ever had, except for my wife. She's the Mom of a wonderful 5 year old and a cancer survivor.

    There's a relay for life event locally and she has set a goal of $1,000. Currently, her total is $560 and she has a little more to go to make that goal. If the members of the Wall could give even $10 to help her make that goal, I'd appreciate it and I'm sure she will also. You can make your donations here to help end the terrible fear that cancer can cause.

    Dianne doesn't know (yet) that I'm posting this here. She's probably tucking in her daughter (my surrogate grand-daughter) in bed. Let's see if she can make her goal.

    To both of you, Dan and Paul.

    Anna, Dianne and Jack's little girl is a late in life baby. Jack seemed to go out of his way when our 2 were babies to spoil them and I'd get aggravated with him about that. When Anna was born, I swore revenge and have achieved some. She's only 5, so I still have time.

    Dianne may not like me saying this, it may be a little personal. Dianne actually had breast cancer while she was nursing Anna as a baby, so she couldn't get a mammogram. When Anna was weaned, she got the news about the cancer. There were options and they removed the lump and gave her radiation (I think). I told her as she was starting the treatments to wear her bandanna with pride.

    Dianne's a survivor. I can't imagine my (surrogate) grand-daughter without her Mom.

    I am heading over to my cousins in Spokane to be at the walk with her this weekend and am sponsoring her & her daughter on this one. Great cause, my cousin had this nasty disease 2 years ago but we think they caught it in time. Great going on helping out y'all. Tim

    we don't call them "survivor" we call them Conquers . We have at least one in our family , Janice my wife beat breast cancer last year. Best of luck & GOD bless .
