Within the next few weeks,
we will have another new section at HeatingHelp.com. I'm calling it "Green" and it will be very similar in function to the Library. In Green, we'll gather and catagorize PDF documents that deal with Green building- and HVAC-technology and issues, and we'll also have links to enviromentally focused websites and building products.
I welcome your help with this project. Please email me any links you'd like to see in the new Green section, as well as any PDF documents you or your company would like to share with all of us. Look to the Library for the format.
I think this is going to be good for all of us. Thanks for being a part of it.

A famous person once said
"its not easy being green" I think it was Kermit the frog. We could all try a little harder at being green, I think its a great idea.

Daniel???????
I think ONLY his Mom calls him that. Great idea Dan, I will be perusing thru that and contributing where I can. We - with Mark Eathertons assisistance - will be starting a solar h.w, experiment at "This Damned!!!! House" shortly. I will record as I go along. Whether the motive is economic or "environmental" green is a good cause. Mad Dog

This sounds...
... like FUN! I'll suggest a link, http://www.affordablecomfort.org/index.php
Affordable Comfort's conference is coming up soon in Cleveland. I think it's the best single source of info you can take home and use right away. They have some really dedicated people.

NCAT
How about the National Center for Appropriate Technology.

These are for-profit, but interesting. An ex co-worker used some of their stuff on his off-grid straw bale home. Anyone who ordered Thermofin in the past few years probably talked to Brian.

I am not sure if this qualifies as a green building product to other people, but I have installed in some of these homes and it is an amazing product if used correctly.
