Got Terrible news yesterday .....
as we were trying to finish a Burnham Steamer: A good friend, Patrick Lynch lost his 21 year old Iona College Freshman son suddenly. When I got the news I told the Guys
"GUYS we don't have ANY real problems." Autopsy to follow by it probably has to do with his Hemophelia. Pat is a local real estate broker who truly is a gentleman of HIS industry. Very low key, true Gentleman. He very patiently got mom's house sold for us. My heart is bleeding for this guy and his surviving son. Please pray for them. As Dan always says...."HUG YOUR KIDS"....you never know when THEIR number is up either. Thanks, Mad Dog0 -
Man, is that tough
Hearing that takes the wind out of ones sails in an instant. I cannot imagine the shock, Matt. I will take stock of my blessings and wish any I could spare to head their way.
Please send them our condolences.

Thoughts with them
and you too for your friend's loss. As I have said many times. The 3 most important words in the English language are "I love you" with a hug and the next 2 are "Thank you!" ... Ruthe0 -
I'm
very sorry,Matt.Every parent's nightmare,my sympathies to you and the the family.

Thanks folks
still finding more out. I heard it was in the paper and on the news, but runnin' around too much. Patrick, My Brother and I have become closer in the last few years and I may met the kids once, but I see Pat almost everyday. Stopped in to-day to see what I could do...there was Pat still running the Real Estate office. Gave him a big hug. The Irish are as stoic as they come, and he was born over there. Although he has been devastated, his expression is firm and determined. Thanks people. Mad Dog

Alan.......
You HAVE to be thee Most compassionate fella here - thank you. Actually, Pat's Son was ONLY 18. College Froshman..Hemopheliac. Fell off his bunk bed the other night...bled internally. I used to get smashed and have head-butting contests....go figure. Bottom Line...life cut WAY too short. Every day is a gift. I HATE complainers more than ever...especially the folks who HAVE lived a FULL life (70 and up). I DON"T WANNA hear how hot it is in Florida or COLD in NY....and how many doctors you have to see a week....shut up! You've had a good run. This boy had 18 great years and there are kids who don't make 5!!!!!.
Thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers. Mad Dog

Very sad
Kind of puts things in perspective doesn't it? I just met with a customer I hadn't seen in 3 years. Her Husband had fought and beat stomach cancer only to die in a car crash. Live like there's no tomorrow. Prayers for the family of course. WW
