The world according to sid...

Boiler loop = A (inlet) & B (outlet)
System Loop = C
Temperature = F
Flow = G

Mix Temp (After Tees)=

(AT*(CG - AG) + (BF * BG))/CG

    TWO tee mix formula (Primary/Secondary)

    I am doing some heating calculations and want to do design on tee mixing. I know the regular formula for one tee and just want to make sure the two tee formula (that I have seen) doesn't have a variable I am overlooking.
    Thanks

    here are a couple thoughts....

    Page 311 and 312 in Siggy's most excellent book(Modern Hydronic Heating) has an idea on Reverse injection...

    Taco has a program that is on their site that is called Taco Load Match...i do not know how small or large the system is however these two ideas pretty much cover the large and the micro :)
