Direct vent oil on the north side ?

I recently went to a house where a contrator plans on installing a Burnham MPO DV (direct Vent) boiler on the north facing wall. He insists there won't be any problems. Any thoughts on this?

why would that be different from the south side?
If he cannot locate the vent according to NFPA 31 and the instruction tell him not to bother.

The
I&O manual states not terminate vent into the prevailing wind.
