I did see these kits on their site. I may need to schedule another site visit to verify the exact valve type currently installed.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Non-electric TRV's
I remember past threads when someone mentioned a company or distributor who made a 1-1/2" TRV body (Radiator Angle Valve) for CI Rads. We are always converting gravity systems and TRV's are a great way to control individual radiators and balance the system.
I thought it was Macon controls or Tunstall but they said they topped out at 1-1/4" (Like Oventrop & Danfoss).
Does anyone have another suggestion or alternative?
I know Mike T. & ME were part of the original topic. Mark is currently in Canada and when we spoke this morning he thought it was Tunstall for sure.
Thank you in advance!0 -
EZ-Fit
As far as I know, there is no 1-1/2" TRV available new. However Macon does offer their EZ-Fit Conversion Kits for existing valves.0 -
Tunstall sells manual 1-1/2" (or larger) valves modified to contain the innards of a TRV. It's a special order. See bottom of this page:

In spite of what the web site says, you are not required to supply the manual valve. They will supply it, and that way you know the TRV will fit in the valve.0
