RIDGID Compact 100-B Press Tool for pex tubing?

Member Posts: 24
I do mostly residential and light comercial work, and am in need of a 3/4" and 1" pex crimping tool. I currently have one for only 1/2" tubing.I've been considering the RIDGID Compact 100-B Press Tool. It can be used with jaw sets from 3/8" up to 1-1/4" pex, as well as jaws for the smaller Pro-press fittings. Anyone have some input to help me with this? Is there another tool that's less expensive that I should consider? I'd really appeciate any comments. I won't be able to get back to get your responses till later this evening, but thank's in advance. HT

I have the 100B and love it
good on fostapex that gets tough over 3/4" and in tight spaces.
Also have the Pro press jaws and keep a small assortment of fittings comes in handy when you just do not want to solder or have water coming back.
Not cheap but a nice treat.

Love it!
Have both the 100b and the ridgid 320e and both are very handy to have.
Make sure the jaws you`re using are compatible with the type of pex you plan on installing.0 -
Got that...
The one (minor) drawback is the tool won't fit in the case with the jaws or battery in it.
Does a great job and much lighter than the corded model.
