I have a 27'x 2" main that could use a little more venting. I have a Gorton#1 on now and I know the Hoffman 75 vents a bit more . Without doubling the Gortons can I use a green Hoffman 75H I have laying around even thought it breaks at 15lb pressure? Thanks Guys

Yes, Hoffman makes an excellent Product
I just wish they would make something with the quadruple capacity of the Gorton #2. Use it! BIG QUESTION? 15 psi?????? You should be running no MORE than 2 PSI in a home MAX!!! Mad Dog

MMad dog my question is I have a 75h that closes at 15lbs vs the 75 which closes at 3lbs. I run 1 1/2lb cutout on my system should I be concerned about the 75H (high rating) on this vent for my main? Thanks0 -
I wouldn't use the 75H
I believe it has a smaller opening than the usual 75, due to its higher pressure rating.
Why not try a Gorton #2? That's the biggest vent made today.

Steamhead due to space constraints I can't double the Gortons#1 and the #2 is too large but the 75h just fits. The Hoffman 75 series are pricey if someone would care to swap a 75H for a 75 I'll pay the shipping. Thanks Jim0 -
Space constraints?
There has to be a way to get more venting in there.... I've dealt with similar situations, how about some pics?
