Heatmaker with aquabooster

Hi Bill,
Laars did in fact purchase Trianco's product line back in 1989, or so. We produced the original Heatmakers for about a year after the purchase, before transitioning to the Endurance model.
We still provide parts and support for many of the older Trianco products.
Any chance you could fax me a diagram as to how the boiler and aqua booster are currently piped, along with a rough wiring diagram? Doesn't have to be too fancy, just enough to give the general idea.
There are plenty of these with coil boosters installed, so I'm puzzled as to the problem here.
The fax here at the factory is 603-335-5212, and my phone is 603-335-6300 x 562. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Paul Bock

Heatmaker with aquabooster
Hi all-
I have a customer with a Heatmaker boiler with internal tankless. He was getting poor hot water, so we installed a 50 gallon aquabooster. Big mistake. Don't know much about Heatmakers and I didn't realize that the control setup is such that the boiler needs to satisfy DHW before it will kick on heating zone. If the tank takes 1 hour or whatever to recover, the customer gets no heat while waiting and is not happy. Anyone run into this problem? Any ideas? I wonder if Heatmaker makes a different sensor to use so that the heat zone will kick on sooner?
Thanks in advance...0 -
booster
I've installed a few boosters to heat makers never had this problem . If you use a taco exp relay control you can use a 1 hour time limit card . If this is the Trianco Heatmaker Larrs is now building these units .0
