Peerless Pinnacle oil fired
Has anyone installed any of these.Would work great for a new house I'm building.I was looking at LP.0 -
Thanks Mad dog
I have been doing alot of research on the LP mod-cons.I have always been an oil guy.Have a Buderus 115 oil fired in the current home.I can buy LP at better price than oil but the btu difference bothers me a little.$2.39 Gallon for oil,$1.99 for LP.0 -
As long as you can build a chimney
I'd go oil. Get a low mass CI boiler like a Biasi with an inverse indirect. Run the boiler up to 140° to keep the tank @ 120+, and use this for your radiant loops. Simple, efficent and longer lasting. Throw on outdoor reset to adjust for very cold and very warm days.0 -
Pinnacle Oil Boiler
Scott, I am a regional sales manager for Peerless. The Pinnacle Oil is designed only for #2 fuel oil (does not have to use low sulfer, just standard grade #2 oil) and cannot be used for LP.
This is a direct vent sealed combustion boiler with outdoor reset as a standard feature. The boiler is designed to be simple to set up (uses a standard Beckett AFG burner) and to maintain. Please see our website for additional information. If you need a "local testimonial" I would be glad to provide them if you send me your location.
Thanks,

Pinnacle
Hi Mike
Thanks for the post.I'm looking at this boiler because of the efficency and btus of oil.I was going to use a Munchkin or Peerless Pinnacle LP.But higher btus of oil and the efficency of this boiler along with Northeast Radiant designing my system with a Tekmar TN4 seem like an unbeatable combination.I don't want to build a chimney or use a power vent.Prefer direct vent.I live in southern Maine.I would appreciate any info or testimonies. Thanks Scott0
