Heat distribution from wood stove?

Is the most efficient way to move and store heat. I Ran radiant with aluminum plates in my ceiling and walls around my wood stove, I run just my secondary pump, which circulates the warm water from the wood stove room, to the colder rooms, making the colder rooms more comfortable. The wood stove room is more comfortable too, because the cold, 60 degree water, from the cold part of the house cools off the wood stove room, making it more comfortable. I was planning on that, but I didn't plan on was the way it stores the heat on my floors and walls in the cold part of my house. It takes a couple of fires to get things going but when you do the heat lasts much longer. Bob Gagnon

The wood stove is in one end of the house
and I spend most of my time in the other :-)
I'd like to move the heat from the wood stove room to the rest of the house. It's a cape with lots of walls and rooms, with only a 40" doorway between the family room/kitchen half and the computer/living/bed room half. The fan in the doorway isn't really cutting it...
I could hack together some ducting but I'm looking for something a bit more innovative, though not as expensive as a thermostatically controlled hydronic system. I'm leaning toward low velocity air through PVC, similar to the high velocity AC retrofits I see in old houses. Running the PVC is easy enough, it's the air circulators I could use pointers on. Quiet, low CFM, low wattage, inline are all plusses.
thanks,
