This photo is indicative of the theme of this show which was renewable energy resources. The focus was on alternative energy sources such as solar, PV, wood pellet boilers, geo-source heat pumps, and wind energy. I was surprised to see the big european boiler manufacturers (Viessmann, Buderus incl.) heavily invested in this technology.

This is a solar panel and tank at the Baxi booth that was similar to hundreds on display. Note the emphasis on a complete system rather than discerete components. -DF

I finally got around to downloading these photos from my recent trip to ISH - Frankfurt. It was my first trip there and I was overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. After spending the better part of four days at Messe Frankfurt, I think I made it through about half of the show. I guess I will need to make a return visit in 2009. -DF
