MM auto feeder & water level

Member Posts: 6
I have installed a burnham IN5 Steamer with MM LWC(802) and auto feeder (Unit-Match 24V). It seems that the water level is maintained buy LWC but the feed valve doesn't seem to maintain water level 1" above LWC as stated. The feeder feeds enough water for the boiler to fire but doesn't seem to maintain a water level above anything else. Boiler piping is as required by Burnham and all radiator vents incuding main vents have been changed out, also I have installed the 2 gpm orifus. Do you think if I increased the orifus size to a 4 gpm it would do maintain a better water line or should I just replace the unit?

Safety Controls
Both the LWCO and electric feed valves are sold from the manufacture as safety controls . A point that I always bring up to someone who wants a auto fill for liability reasons . The level still should be set by hand...... I know . Still protect your butt.
