Laars Endurance
Like a lot of other stuff out there, some good some bad. Have installed a few and had little troubles....bad bypass valve and one bad circulator. Big improvement over its predecessor as the piping connections are on top. A lot easier to pipe in a closet. Performance is quite good. Not my idea of a real boiler, but gets the good done.0 -
mostly good,...
Few problems as long as the by-pass piping is exactly as suggested in the manual, in fact have had fewer problems with these than most others, which is a little suprizing considering the bad reputation they once got. But like most fan jobs pay attention to the correct venting and factory specifications. Only negative comment would be on one out of about ten the diaphram switch needed replacing, which the factory promplty took care of. They will also engeneer multiple induced fan jobs on the same vent system, and stand by their calculations which most others won't. We were installing two units one for the dhw and the other for heat in installs where the customer wanted some redundancy, because of the small size these units were selected but they have been pereforming like champs. Did I mention how critical the by-pass piping is?0
