Modcon lockout issues (GrandPAH)

the voltage has had wide swings as, before, or after the power went down.
I read somewhere the allowable voltage swing before the modules lock out. As I recall something around 100- 130V range.
Brownouts, or surges when the lines are powered back up could cause lockouts if the equipment is running at that time. I believe?
Good reason to add power conditioners and backup units, I suppose.

power outages causing lockouts?
Anyone seeing issues where boilers utilizing electronics are locking themselves out following a power outage?0 -
Couple of years ago
had a very large outage area. Had 2 tekmar controlled systems that shut down. one in a "summer" home. Flicked the switch, things good as gold again.

Windy days
We get issues on windy days. We still have a lot of overhead services and trees. Any hint of voltage on the neutral will also cause some of these things to lock out.

OH yeah
We have a Buderus GB out there that we went out on atleast 3 times. Long story short: 2 times the power lines went down on the block (didn't find this out till much later...on the third call after some detective work) and the last time was the HO doing his new service line to the house. How do you charge for those calls??? He's also a friend and Guard buddy. Thank God he lives in same town. We shut all power to unit off and she rebooted fine. That last "no heat call" was over 4 months ago, so me thinks that was all it was. Mad Dog
