link for top notch new install pics
just wondering if the idea for setting up a link with new installation pics had thought over. i've been in this trade now for a year and a half now and i can already say that it is something i have already become very passionate about. my employer has recently realized that i can handle the building aspect of installs quite well even though i don't understand the hydronic end of it near as much as i would like to. (i will start another thread one more topic i would like to propose after this one). due to the fact that i have began handling a good majority of my company's boiler builds i absolutely love seeing pictures of the new installs done by some of the best in our industry. I would love to see an archived link to pics of some of these installs. I think that there is always something to learn from these pictures whether it be new ideas or just appreciation of the artistic ability needed to succeed in this industry. just an idea but i personally think it could be a cool idea
thanks,

I too would enjoy seeing the creative boiler work of others in the industry who are passionate about what they do. If your passion really goes beyond the creative side of boiler plumbing and into the realm of hydronic science, get your hands on John Siegenthaler's book, "Modern Hydronic Heating". It'll lighten your wallet, but it's been quite worth it for me.
I've included some pics of my latest install. It's got a 60 tube solar collector, a 120 gallon dual exchanger tank, and a Buderus GB boiler.0 -
Install pics
I agree. I love to see pics of new installs, even old installs. I can sit & stare at one picture for 20 minutes, trying to figure out why it was plumbed a particular way. I only work on the burners, don't know enough about boilers & piping yet. The most informative posts for me are ones where a person posts his new install and it gets critiqued by the pros. I would support such a site. I have almost posted a pic of an old install just to see what poeple would say about it but figured they would think I am crazy for posting an old junky install.0 -
