Will Pump Cartridge fit?

can I replace a Taco 006 pump cartridge into a 007 pump? I have a job where someone used a 007, and it's WAY too much pump for the circuit, and I don't have a 006 flanged pump in stock, but do have a 006 cartridge. Hate to pull it apart only to find out it doesn't fit, ....so I seek opinions of more wiser folks than I.

Try
a Grundfos UP-15-42-F. If that's too big, a B&G NRF-9F/LW is about the smallest you can get in a flanged circulator.

Nope
The pump casting itself is different on the 006 and 007. It will probably bolt up but it won't work.0 -
The 006 cartridge will fit and work OK. It's the same cartridge we use for the 005. The only issue is that due to misalignment of the 006 rotor and 007 stator laminations there may be a little noise . The magnetic field may want to pull the rotor to ride on the back bearing. The impellers are exactly the same.0
