I would choose the Triangle Tube tank. Amtrol coils have a design that is very inferior to the Triangle Tube tank-in-tank design.

Indirect water heaters
A little help...
Checking to see preferences on either Triangle Tubes Smart series indirect or Amtrol's Boilermate indirect heaters.
Anyone have a history with either of these units?
Thanks0 -
Stay away from both. Tha Amtrol is primative and too expensive for what you get. The Triangletube's controls last about a year if fortune smiles upon you. Crown Megastore, Superstore with 1" coil, Vaugh, are all makes I have used and use. Amtrol and Triangletube are makes I seem to fix or replace.0
