FLooding a Boiler in the Summer
Rodney Summers
Member Posts: 748
I have an old Mouat Vapor System in Akron OH. Is it a good idea to flood a boiler in the summer to prevent exposure of the boiler to air and corrosion of the cast iron? Also I get knocking in two radiators which are the first on the main supply loop after the boiler cycles down. Does anyone know what causes this?
