Tankless HW heaters
I like the Takagi. It's microprocessor controlled (some of the Bosch ones aren't and use a mechanical system to modulate the burner- it's just not as slick.) Also, some of the Bosch models allow for conventional chimmney venting, which to me implies less efficient heat exchangers.
FYI, I am a homeowner and my information on the Bosch may be out of date. Just my two cents. My Takagi has been great.

I have installed both. I prefer the Rinnai over the Takagi. The Takagi has to be manually reset after a power outage unless you install a battery back up, the Rinnai will auto reset. I also like the Rinnai's flue termination (concentric cone shaped) to the Takagi"s which requires a 12 x 12 hole for the stainless steel termination box. Both ran great no problems 2-1/2 years. Watch if they are on a well. They will need to be de-scaled every year.0 -
My 2 cents
Stay away from Bosch...
Takagi's good, Rinnai's better, Noritz also better.0
