I bet you could use the chimney as a pipe chase for the pvc vent pipe. Venting the boiler into a chimney (even a lined one) would be very bad. Chimneys are not ment for condensate...

I'm installing a peerless pinnacle boiler and was wondering if it possible to vent it through a chimney (lined). The manual gives the option of venting through a wall or a roof, but I just wondered if anyone has any recommendations on this.0 -
