Gorton combinations
Three #1's provide 90% of the venting from one #2. Assume that the former is adequate venting. The cost of three #1's is just a couple of dollars less than the cost of a #2.
Okay, which would the pros install - three #1's or one #2? I figure the #1's because an instance of failure would cost less to replace. But I don't know the reliability of the #1's relative to the #2's.

i only use the #1 when i either can't fit in a #2 or the size of the #2 would look stupid.
