Security Company discontinues CO detectors

due to people smoking etc. and fire department coming and breaking down doors. Agent told me they put it to a vote of their clients and over 92% voted to discontinue it. I tend to take this with a big grain of salt. I don't doubt though that the lower quality detectors will false alarm as has been reported on the wall....I wish there was a way for the security companies to partner with NSI or CO Experts to come up with a high quality detector that can be monitored. That's alot of homes and families out there that could be protected.
