know where I can get some "old" looking radiator valves?

I have a customer that wants to put a couple CI rads in his Great room, but he does not like the look of the "newer" valves.

1.25" angle.

Any suggestions??

Distressing valves

Mark, when I did a historical renovation on a very old system, the owner was particular about old looking valves. I tried to get brass TRV valve bodies, which were available in the mid 90's, but no more.

I wound up taking 38 valves to a friend's machine shop, and borrowed his sandblasting booth. It took 5-7 min. per valve to remove the nickel plating. The system balancing was so easy with the TRV's, Well worth the effort.
