Was there anything new and exciting in wood boilers
at ISH that may come this way and be worth waiting for?


The Viessmann behemoth that was posted recently was awesome but possibly overkill for my application.

More solid fuel and bio mass than I could count!

I saw a lot of boilers with feeders that would run pellets, chips, shavings, and other various sawmill by products.

Most booths had very large storage vessels displayed with the boiler. 750, 1000, and even larger. Most had at least two coils.

I saw one company with folding tanks up to 4600 l.

Some had 3 coils for boiler and solar inputs as well as DHW and wood boiler buffering.

Controls were all micro processors of some sort. Outdoor reset very common.

Solar thermal panels were displayed at many wood boiler booths also.

I liked the way this company wrapped all their boilers in this Euro look "double diamond" plate.
