The best low-level detector out there is NSI

and is sold by National Comfort Institute. Find a dealer near you. Mad Dog

    home testing in Kansas

I am in Hays, but there should be some raters in Kansas closer to you. Search Energy and Environmental Rating Alliance website and you will find some listed in Kansas. There is one listed in Salina, but I believe he is in Manhattan now. EERA is out of Manhattan and they train raters from all over the US and of course, they also do testing.

Feel free to email me if you have more questions or want information resources.

It's a great idea to have a home tested, otherwise you may be just guessing at the cause(s). Homes experience various effects that cause pressure disturbances. Wind (we get a lot in Ks.), height of the home, exposure (in the open or protected by trees and other structures) to name a few causes. A very tight home with limited combustion air for gas furnace or other combustion appliances will experience negative pressure effects. Exhaust fans such as kitchen & bath vents, clothes dryer, Radon mitigation fan, etc. can all add up to create an effect.
