How large will the flue plume be on a sidewall vented condensing boiler. My neighbor has one installed and not started yet, but the contractor terminated the flue vent around the corner from his front door (10-feet). The vent is located on a wall seeing wind much of the time. Any opinions! The location is high altitude 7500 FASL.

The usual response....
It depends !
The outdoor temp. will have an effect, as well as the humidity.
As long as the manufacturers instructions are followed...(NOTICE..the largest portion of ANY install manual lately is the Venting directions?)The code officials have to (in MOST cases) approve.
Foggy windows? Who cares...the instructions were followed. As Milne likes to say...."Common sense, it ain't so common". Hopefully the contractor also looked at the other factors involved and decided right. Good luck. Chris0
