Temperature swing?

If I set my digital thermostat to +/-1F, I am afraid it might cycle the boiler a lot.

Should I set it to +/-2 or even perhaps 3?

My prefered temperature is at 68F. Thanks all.

    a lot of...

that will depend on a couple of things...1...what type of insulations/ how tight your house is and 2...what type of radiation you have Ci will hold heat longer that copper finned tube and copper fin tube longer than FHA....kpc

    It depends on the individual..

there is a type of truth that is valid dependent upon where someone is coming from :) not everyone may be as active or as hardy as yourself, so, sometimes you may consider others around you and how or what defines their comfort level...then ,if it is all the same to you , you can defer to what they might feel to be comfortable...

you may come in to your home from working shoveling snow and think'...Man, it is HOT in Here...' maybe though,... your wifer. sitting in one place, trying her best to figure how to pay all the heating ,electrical bills and what to do to tube stakes, rabbit food and weeds for a week, might find everything is 'freezing' to her, ever since you came in for a cup of coffee...

so, before you go Master Minding the Electronic Thermostat...consider taking a poll because...once you minkey with it...YOU TOUCHED it Last ! and it will never work right again :) Good luck. ____ _____
