Pulse boiler

i am involved with a high end restaurant in new york that has 6 hydrotherm AM-300 located in a cellar with the CPVC and PVC vent piping running in a trench under the kitchen to the outside. after six years the boilers are failing and may have to be replaced. i know hydrotherm has a new boiler the GX series which utlilizes the CPVC venting. does anyone know of any other boilers that can use CPVC for venting? has anyone else experienced such a short life span for the AM-300 boilers?

    pulse

Weil- McLain and others do make condensing boilers with PVC pipe. They are widely available. Were they using the boiler for hot water or for heating? Many have failed that I have seen , but not that quickly. Usually the heat exchangers fail. Most times replace just the exchanger.

    Seems very unusual

I assist in maintaining 4 M-300s that are about 25 years old and appear to be functioning fine, despite some abuse at times. I wonder if you have some installation problems like variable flow, etc, through the boilers.
