Need advise regarding outdoor cutoff
Steamhead (in transit)

this type of "warm-weather shutdown" should be pretty easy. We've done it with just an "on-off" outdoor thermostat, a transformer and a relay at each device to be shut down.
If you wire the relays so they open when power is applied, you can also include indicator lamps that will show when the unit is off on WWSD.

Single outdoor cutoff for multiple buildings
Here is my setup. I have a single owner with six three family buildings in a row. All buildings are attached to each other, so we have two end units (semi attached) and four fully attached mid units. Each building has a Laars Endurance boiler providing heat to three zones with thermostats and DHW via an indirect storage tank.
Problem: The buildings face due west. Only one end unit has an exposed North side. I would like to install an outdoor sensor to lock out the thermostats when the outside temperature is above a designated set point. I can do this with a digispan or similar unit. However, since I only have one north wall, I would like to do either of the following:
1. Use one digispan unit to lock out all the thermostats at each of the six zone controllers.
2. Use one exterior sensor and six dig spans to provide the same functionality.
Are there any issues with either of these scenarios or is there an alternative that I am not seeing?
Thanks

Sensor Location
Install the sensor on the North wall near the West corner... Away and not on top of any windows or vents...0
