Dan if you sensor me and ban me I will never let you forget it. You will be banning me because I am brainstorming ideas for slowing global warming. Dave Yates said you can either lead, follow or step aside. Dan please step aside. I know where you stand. Step aside and I won't bother you any more.

Now you went to extreme's you took down my posts. Not only do you not want to do anything about GW but you are sensoring the wall now so that no one can do anything about it. It is one thing to stand by and do nothing. I have said many times I have absolutly no problem with people not doing anything. I am not the problem here. The only thing I want to do is help design better heating systems that use less fuel. Now why in the world should any of you have a problem with that? It is another thing to stop someone from actually doing something. Dan, do you want to go down in history as one of the people who not only ignored the warning signs, ignored the scientists and sensored the people who tried to stop GW?

I was president of IACT. I ran that club for three years. I now have found my replacement. Mary Ellroy is now president. I will have time to devote to slowing global warming. I can get heavily involved in a organization. I won't run the thing by myself though. I need help. First I need help deciding what we should do or how we can go about doing things.

Every time I try and organize people to take steps to reduce global warming everyone gets mad at me. I have no problem with disbeleivers.

You are the critical peg. If you acnowledge that it is smart to discuss reducing fuel consumption then everyone else will leave me alone or join in.

I am brainstorming ideas but everyone is very hostile with me.

It is only good for our industry. People will pay designers and contractors good money to modify their heating systems to conserve fuel.

You are beyond passionate and into the rude and abusive category.

Our host has been most gracious thus far. If Dan were to ban you, it would be your own fault and probably supported by many. You have rewarded Dan's benevolence with taunts and jibes which in any other forum would get you thrown out the door.

You have no self-control coupled with an abundance of self-pity in my personal opinion.

My comments are out of concern as an observer and occasional participant in these discussions. I care very much about the planet, but you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. From what I have seen, nearly all people here are your friends. There is no reason to let these issues consume you so completely to the point where it hurts more than it helps.

I consider you a friend as I do everyone I talk with regularly on The Wall. I will not comment further.

My $.02 It was my understanding, that the purpose of this site was to help each other learn by solving problems and provide some expertise on a subject if you had it. I come here to learn and occassionaly help someone.

While Global Warming is a valid subject, this isn't the forum to talk about it. Fuel efficiency, efficient piping and control design - those are the ways we can all contribute towards burning less fossil fuels. But that is as far as it should go. Whether or not global warming is a real issue is not why we come to this site.

If you feel so passionate about it, post a another bulletin board / chat room site where that subject is discussed. Any of us who are interested can go there. Trying to force feed it to us is the wrong way.

There are scientists and groups on both sides of this issue. Provide a site we can go to and maybe some of us will visit it. Personally, I resent politicians and other activists telling me I can't drive my SUV or I have to use special light bulbs in my house. It's like the right to life issue - extremes on both sides. Doesn't belong here though.
