especially when up on scaffold, or worse yet stlits. So I got my hands on a 85 SuperDrive demo from Grabberman.

It uses that slick lightweight cordless Hitachi impact driver. I chose the drill point screws to predrill the aluminum as it pulls through.

I've had some issues with both staples and roof nailers not driving in all the way on the super tough AdvanTech type underfloor products.
Also they tend to dimple the contact side a bit and upset the good conduction contact.

The SuperDrive sucks them up very tightly.

I keep up updated as I do a job or two.

    I agree Hot Rod

I've learned to co-exist with hoses, although I'm sure you feel FREE when they're gone!
I know what you're saying about the dimple effect though. That new tool is gonna be a tad slower, but if it does a better job... and it's not THAT much slower. Let us know how it goes. I've got the DeWalt whaddyacallit for doing decks or quik-trak while standing up. I wonder how it would work if I took the extension pole off of it?

    Yup

This was the original method of installing Thermofin. The Grabber screw gun required special bits that were fairly expensive, and the productivity rate was not nearly what it is with pneumatic tools. Productivity almost doubled with the pneumatic tools. I do agree that the screw guns do a little nicer job. Screw guns are a little hard on the shoulder after a few days of installing plates.
