Slainte'

Tonight I will enjoy corned beef & cabbage and a cold half & half (for the non emerald isle folk, that's Guinness & Harp) Ahhh the perfect pour... I can hear the outlawed tunes on outlawed pipes off in the distance.

    To all my Irish friends,

and to those who wish they were Irish, I bid ye a Happy St. Patty's Day.

Today, here on the Isle of Long, the bagel makers will dye their bagels green, which, truth be told, is pretty disgusting.

    Slainte!
    Retired and loving it.

...and the rest of the day to you, too.

Hope all of your brackets got screwed up like mine yesterday. Have fun today and remember the loved ones -- call for a ride.

    Can we

Google the operation? I have not seen green blood transfusions before.

    All the best Mark.

    St. Patty BABY

I also found out a few minutes ago that my nephew's wife gave birth to a baby girl, Tess, at 3:30 a.m. in Harrisburg, PA. I'll toast a beer to the newest member of the Hall brood.

St Pattys is my favorite \"Holiday\"

Christmas when my kids were young, was close, and this day every year.

Some of the best memories of my life happened on this day.

One of them is my Father wearing out our Dennis Day album of Irish Songs on this day. And him singing Danny Boy in his sweet tenor voice. He could make a stone cry when he sang about the famous Danny. Brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my face thinking of those bygone days.

May all of you enjoy this day as much as I will this afternoon and this evening.
