Notice to prospective apprentices

Plumbers Local #24 Education Fund

Applications: For a five year apprentice program in the Plumbing industry will be available Tues. to Fri. April 18, 2006 to April 21, 2006 and Tues. to Fri. April 25, 2006 to April 28, 2006 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Applications will also be available Thurs., April 20, 2006 and Thurs., April 27, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Applications must be completed by the applicant at the Local #24 Training Center, 986 So. Springfield Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081. A total of 150 applications will be given out on a first come first serve basis.

Requirements: Copies of a birth Certificate, High School Diploma with OFFICIAL transcripts or Equivalency (GED) with OFFICIAL transcripts, Social Security Card and a Valid Driver's License must be given (not returnable) to receive an application. All applicants must be at least 18 years. High school seniors meeting the above criteria may also apply. Successful applicants will be required to pass a drug screening test.
