Buderus Balanced flue opinion please

Hello wall people,

I was hoping to get an opinion on the balanced flue system. We did one or two several years ago. Should I lean towards the Carlin or the Riello? How about the venting? Fields or the Buderus kit?

Thanks for any help!

Gary

    Gary....

Lean towards the chimney!!!!...all-fuel if need be. I have done a bunch of theses and they have had some headaches when the temps drop below 0F...I was using the Aerocowl hood w/ seperate intake and exaust to prevent cross contamination...but due to the cold air at low temps causing atomization issues I went to the Field hood(new and improved)- Due to the cold air causing atomization issues at low outdoor temps. The field helps warm the intake air up abit. Use the Vrv on the intake and set it to suck in air in the basement..the warmer the basement THE BETTER! I use Carlin because the nozzle warmer the put w/ all their burners helping w/ the atomization thing again...I now have my builder convinced to do chimneys...less headaches and happier customers....best of luck, kpc
